Université Libre de Bruxelles
Marco Robbio graduated from the Politecnico of Torino, Department of Applied Physics and Technology in 2022. Specialization is in Physics of complex systems, main interest lies in the area of Quantum Information Theory, Marco Robbio conducted his thesis “A fundamental bound to quantum information
processing” under the supervision of Davide Girolami.
Currently, Marco Robbio is working on the AppQInfo project ”Applications and Hardware for Photonic Quantum Information Processing” which will be devoted, in particular, to achieve a better understanding of photonic interferences in a hybrid photonic setting combining passive and active interactions between many modes, as a member of the research group Centre for Quantum Information and Communication at the Universit´e Libre de Bruxelles , supervised by Professor Nicolas Cerf and Dr Leonardo Novo. Marco Robbio moved from Italy to Belgium.
In his free time, Marco enjoys communicating with friends and family, joining social events and participating in sport activities.
