Prof. William J. Munro

After many years in both academia and industry, Bill joined NTT Basic Research Laboratories in Japan in 2010. Here he is currently a senior Distinguished Scientist and the director of NTT’s research center for Theoretical Quantum Physics. His broad research interests range from the design of quantum technologies to foundational issues in quantum science. He is a fellow of the APS, IOP and OSA.
